WHO WE ARE:
Magic Ant Network began as a school passion project in 2020 at a local school in the Brisbane region, from there it only grew. The idea behind the name is quite simple when explained, but fun and mysterious at first glance, this organisation aims to promote the message that a small change can make a big difference. M.A.Network works closely with the community, charities, schools and businesses alike, to help move towards everyone’s common goal; a better future. Ant Directors Elijah Barnes and Lachlan Boyes see a future with no homelessness, no domestic violence, no children missing out on education, no animals in need of a new home, no deforestation and no pollution. They know it is a big dream but they are willing to work with the people and for the people to accomplish these dreams. The future is in the hands of everyone, work for a better future for yourself, make that small change in your life to see that big difference.
Unity
The Magic Ant Network aims to build bridges between an array of community organisations, schools and charities. Networking different community groups is essential in establishing small changes which make a big difference. Ants always work in teams, which is what always makes them effective. To be just as effective, we need to do the same.
Education/Awareness
At the Magic Ant Network, we are very passionate about encouraging leadership amongst the student demographic. This is carried out in a series of talks at local schools. As a part of these talks, we teach Ant Education, which is all about the different social issues the community faces, how these issues are being addressed and the different types of things students can do to help out. We also tell our story of creating this network, inspiring the students to make their own magical changes to the world.
Welfare
As well as connecting a variety of community organisations, schools and charities, we at the Magic Ant Network offer opportunities for charities to expand, and to connect with volunteers. We passionately believe that working together to make small changes will create a positive difference towards sustainability and wellbeing. This is why we are dedicated to doing our part in making our world a better place.
